SANTA FE WEEKEND BALLET INTENSIVE: JULY 25-27, 2025

Cadenza Ballet is pleased to announce our first Santa Fe Weekend Ballet Intensive! Come join us this July in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico for our intermediate/advanced level weekend intensive!

Intensive dates are:  Friday, July 25-Sunday July, 27, 2025.

 

​This weekend intensive is designed for intermediate/advanced level dancers. It is not for absolute beginners or beginning ballet students.

 

The weekend will include classes in technique, pre-pointe/pointe, variations, turns and jumps, musicality/artistry, and more. Additionally, our weekend will feature a social outing, and a Q&A session with the teachers. Below, you can view the tentative schedule for our intensive. Please note that this schedule is subject to change. A final schedule will be emailed to all participants prior to the

start of the intensive. Our intensive will feature guest artists. Guest Artists will be announced soon!

COST:  $350.00

There is a 50% non-refundable ($175.00) deposit due at booking.

The remainder 50% balance is due one week prior to the start of the intensive (A separate invoice will be sent in July).
Once the intensive begins, all tuition is non-refundable for any reason. 

We understand that injuries and illness happen. Please contact us at classes@cadenzaballet.org to discuss your situation if needed. We will not refund for illnesses including, but not limited to, Influenza and Covid-19.​​

Meet Our Guest Faculty!

Rachel Zervakos

Rachel Zervakos holds a B.F.A. in Dance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and is an American Ballet Theatre® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 & Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Rachel has performed major roles in many classical ballets as well as contemporary work by Jose Limon, Trey McIntrye, Twyla Tharp, among others. In 2014, she completed her internship at American Ballet Theatre in New York. Her choreography has been performed and won awards at The Boston Conservatory New Music Festival, BalletFest Atlanta, Youth America Grand Prix, and other festivals. She loves staging full length productions such as Giselle, Don Quixote, and other ballets. Rachel is currently on faculty at NDI New Mexico and is the Upper Levels Rehearsal Director at Dance Arts Los Alamos.

LUKE REID-GRASSIA

Luke Reid-Grassia grew up in Santa Fe, NM, where he discovered his passion for dance at age 11. He trained at several local studios and attended summer programs including the Ailey School, Walnut Hill, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. He received his B.F.A. in Dance from New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, where he worked with choreographers such as Gus Solomons Jr., Sidra Bell, Lucinda Childs, and Benoit Swan Pouffer. He has performed with Moving People Dance Santa Fe, Second Avenue Dance Company, and Prometheus Dance Company, among others, and participated in numerous dance projects including Trisha Brown's Floor of the Forest at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Luke received a 200-hour yoga certification in 2017 and worked as a stage manager and light board operator at Bates College, Jose Mateo Ballet Theater, and the Emory University Dance Department. He currently lives in Santa Fe with his wife Rachel Zervakos and is on faculty at Dance Arts Los Alamos.
