CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2025:
You will need to provide CB with 12-hours notice of class cancellation if you are unable to make the class, in which case you will have a credit for a class to be used within 2-weeks. Failure to provide CB with 12-hours notice forfeits your 2-week class credit. Absolutely no refunds, for any reason, will be given, unless class is cancelled by CB. Class credits are non-transferrable, non-refundable, non-shareable, and will not be extended for any reason.
Additionally, NO refunds will be provided for classes cancelled within 12 hours of class start time. Same-day class sign-ups are ineligible for refunds or class credits.
We apologize for any inconvenience. However, CB must make these changes to ensure we can continue to keep our doors open. We appreciate your patience with us and cooperation as we navigate how to continue providing accessible and affordable adult ballet and dance classes.

All tuition & fees are 100% non-refundable, regardless of reason.

Class rates do not include the Prelude Series: 8 Week Introduction to Ballet , our Summer Weekend Intensive, and/or other limited-time series, workshops, or events.

Pointe shoes are required for pointe class, and must be professionally fitted.
Modern & Commercial Dance footwear: barefoot and socks ideal; can wear ballet slippers or foot thongs.
Class Etiquette & Conduct
It is the expectation of Leigh and Cadenza Ballet, LLC that each student conduct themselves in a respectful way to themselves, their fellow dancers, and to the teacher(s).
All students should be advised that Cadenza Ballet is a welcoming and inclusive environment to ALL. We have a zero tolerance policy for hostility, harassment, and disrespectfulness. Any student engaging in behavior or speech that is deemed inappropriate will be dismissed from class and our school, without warning and without refund.
Leigh, our AD and current principal teacher, operates by an "open book/door" policy. She is happy to discuss any questions or concerns with any student, and readily and happily seeks feedback from her students.
Additionally, we ask students abide by our code of ethics:
-
All cell-phones must be silenced or off.
-
Students should be on time to each class they attend
-
Students should refrain from excessive talking during class and in-between combinations, unless there is a question/discussion about technique/artistry/combinations
-
Students should try to use the bathroom before class, after class, or during the small break between barre and center floor. If you must use the restroom during class, please do so in-between combinations, quietly.
-
All students are expected to treat themselves and each other with courtesy and respect.
-
All students are expected to try each combination, unless injured. Struggling through challenging combinations may not sound "fun" but it really is the way you improve. And we will support and encourage you the whole way!
-
We may not teach the way you have been taught in the past. And this is both normal and a good thing. While we at Cadenza Ballet know we may not be the right fit for each student, we do ask you to enter the studio with an open mind and be prepared to learn something new, even if it is different than what you may be used to. If you are unsure about a term or technique being taught, please just ask!
