STUDIO GUIDELINES

To ensure we have a welcoming, tranquil, and integrative experience, we ask the following of each of our dancers:

1.) Cell-phones must be on vibrate mode or turned off.

2.) Students should refrain from conversation when the teacher is speaking.

3.) Students should be courteous and respectful to one another in our studio (and ideally outside as well).

4.) Street shoes should not be worn on the marley dance floor unless they are clean (free from excessive mud, dirt, etc)

5.) If a student must use the restroom during class, they should do so quietly and in between combinations. They should re-enter the classroom in the same manner.

6.) Please keep your personal belongings together and store them neatly. We highly recommend using the storage shelving in the lobby, in order to keep dance space to a maximum.

FILMING IN CLASS

While we understand some students may wish to record their class progress, CB asks each student who wishes to film themselves disclose that to the dancers surrounding them. Please be respectful of any student who does not wish to be filmed. When posting to social media, please ensure that you exercise the utmost discretion in posting to personal social media pages. Cadenza Ballet cannot and will not be held responsible or liable for what others choose to post on their public or private social media accounts.

Teachers at Cadenza Ballet will always disclose, and ask prior to filming. We will do our absolute to best to ensure that dancers who do not wish to be filmed are not recorded. Waivers are presented at time of class sign-up.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS

STUDENT CANCELLATIONS

Students who must cancel a class reservation should do so by logging into their account and canceling. To receive a credit, students must cancel a class no later than three (3) hours before the start of the class. This allows Cadenza ample time to notify students, some of whom have one hour drives or more to the studio. Students who cancel within the three hours prior to class start time will not be issued a credit. There are no exceptions.

CADENZA CANCELLATIONS

If Cadenza must cancel a class due to low enrollment, inclement weather, teacher illness, or other unforeseen event, students will be issued a credit to their account to use at a later date.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

On the rare occasion that Cadenza must cancel due to a severe weather event, students should remember to check our website, Instagram and Facebook pages, as all cancellations will be announced there. Additionally, students should check the email in which they set-up their Arketa accounts as classes will be cancelled via the online reservation program and email notifications will be sent. Please make sure you check your junk/spam folders as well.

Rarely will Cadenza Ballet cancel via text or phone, except for very last-minute cancel decisions, such as flooding conditions that can happy quickly.  Please check your Arketa account, social media, and our website.
